I am happy to know have visited the site. My daughters whle playing fun with my mother said, let us see what is there in net about your village and found this. My uncles(no more now)Pitchai and Edward teacher lived in North Street. I have spent my vacation in Oyangudi. I recall the days when my uncle took us to the lake to have a dip even in midnights during summer.
My mother is the 6th child of Mana Kona&Sundaram Ammal.
Very happy to have been taken to childhood days.
For the benefit of people who do not have touch with the village at present, please mark the directions in the photos. Or mark the landmarks of the olden days, for example mark @quot;the Appa thatha kadai@quot;.
I am working as a faculty of Economics in Tirunelveli. A few members from Oyangudi are in Tirunelveli. |

| Praise the Lord. I am a retired teacher. I am 71 years old.I was born in Oyangudi. I spent my childhood in Oyangudi.I was the sixth child of eight children in M K family.
